AUTHOR’S NOTES: kueble asked for the link to the unfilmed/unused scene where Joe Malozzi hinted at a romantic relationship between the AU Daniel and the AU Cameron. This is what popped into my head after reading scene 54 of “In the Making” again.

Maybe it was being surrounded by all the other versions of himself, vivid reminders of the man he used to be, that made him feel guilty about what their team planned to do to the alternate Atlantis.

Or, maybe it was his conscience finally waking up from a love-induced coma to say: “This isn’t right and you know it.”

Either way, it was time to break off this thing between himself and Cameron. Because Nick once told him that a person can tell who you are by the company you keep, and Daniel didn’t much like who he was anymore.
